One of these eggs just might be the future Daphne, the house chicken. She is going to be a Brahma, don't know if we are going to get a buff or light yet. It may be decided by which one seems the most like a Daphne when we go get her. She is expected to hatch on the 18th or 19th of March, 2011. We will get her approx. 8 weeks after she hatches, when the sex could be determined. We are getting her from Velvet Sparrow and you could read more about her chickens here:

You can see why it is so hard to choose. Eventually we do want a Light Brahma Cock, so the Light Brahma would be a good match for him, but the Buff is so pretty.
The hens can get to 9.5 lbs, so we are talking about some serious, FLUFFY cuddling.
